I know some of my fellow writers on this website are unappreciative of all the attention my Big Brother 8 articles got. I was actually quite shocked at all that attention as well.

A couple writers contacted me privately to thank me for bringing readers to this website, but the overwhelming response from other writers was negative.

I usually write anything but celebrity-type news. Occasionally something will interest me enough for me to take the time to put something together - the crazy off camera stuff that was happening on the Big Brother 8 show was just such a thing. I had no idea people would actually read it.

Because of the writers strike, which I wholeheartedly support, reality television is going to hit hard this winter. Big Brother producers have decided to bring one of their most successful summer programs to the winter audience; therefore, Big Brother 9 will begin in February.

I have put togther a series of playlists of Dick and Danielle's final days in the Big Brother House, when they are stuck there alone together.

The normal Dick poor language and bashing former houseguests continue. He talks to himself, the camera, and even Zack (through the camera)

Danielle continues to whine and complain and trash former houseguests. She also fights with her father off and on.

It appears that Dick will split the winnings with Danielle if he is chosen as the winner, but Danielle will not do the same. This is the impression that I have gotten myself, plus heard from BB8 message boards from other people as well.

Day Three:

Dick won the final HOH competition on tonight's live episode and evicted Zack. Dick and Danielle are the final two. Father and daughter win.

I will post videos of their celebrations in the house once live feeds come back on. This may be several hours, as the television episode has not aired on the West Coast yet.

I do know that Dick won the second round. On Thursday night, CBS will air highlights of the first round, the second round and then begin the third round.

The father/daughter alliance of Dick and Danielle have scored a massive victory just moments ago. For those of you who have not read my prior articles, Zack won the HOH competition that was held immediately after Thursday's televised episode. Zack nominated Dick and Danielle for eviction. Rounding out the final four is Jameka. The POV during the final four week is the most powerful Power of Veto for the entire season. The holder of this week's POV is the only person who will decide who goes home this week. Danielle won the POV competition just moments ago.

I am going to get straight to the point. Zack redeemed himself. He made the worst move in Big Brother History by not using the veto and breaking up the final alliance in the house. He is the newest HOH and he just nominated Dick and Danielle for eviction.

This emotional and crazy night is one many of us will remember when recalling Big Brother History. Big Brother 8 held a live fast forward show where two houseguests were evicted live. One HOH and one POV competition were held live. And sometime tonight, we expect to see the results of the new HOH competition.

Sadly, Jessica was evicted by a 2-1 vote. Eric kissed her goodbye and in his taped goodbye message he tells her that he loves her.

Well, I certainly learned a lesson about my audience today! All of my Big Brother 8 articles have done rather well, until yesterday's update.

Yesterday's article: "BB8 Update - Tuesday, September 4" www.writernia.com/node/1142 has done rather poorly considering the explosive response it's fellow articles have received. Only 29 views in it's first twenty hours.

I guess my readers want to see headlines with the words "jeopardy," "showmance," "spoiler," "announced," etc.

I have learned my lesson readers of mine!

Today has been a rather dull day with the only entertainment coming from Jessica and Eric's antics. If Jessica is evicted this week, the life of the house will be gone.

Jessica is sad, thinking about her possible eviction. Eric hangs around and chit chats with her.
