Note: Information contained in this article has not aired yet. If you would like to see things unfold during the televised show, please do not read further.

This was a midnight competition hosted by Janelle. Dick learned about the competition while in the diary room. The YouTube poster, BB8House, has a great commentary about what has been happening in the house as Producers get ready for the competition. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRyOQqJWnmY

Midnight POV

Dick has not told Zack that he knows the lockdown is over at midnight. Because the lockdown would mean that they could go outside, Dick is betting that the competition will be held at midnight. Zack and Dick are eating and hanging out in the kitchen and Jessica, Jameka and Eric are in the bedroom talking.

Amber was voted off and her fellow nominee got even. Zack is the new HOH. For those who want to see the Teacup HOH Competition, I compiled a playlist where each video plays after each other:

Zack's HOH Room

Despite all the rumors of a disqualification, Zack is the Head of Household. He got his room late last night and everyone kept commenting on the different haircuts he had in each of his photographs. He got a frisbee, so they will finally have something new to do. He also got clothes. Dani is making the best move in viewing the gifts from the HOH room. She is reading Zack's mom's first book. He handed it to her and instead of giving it a once over, she looks as if she is really enjoying it.

Spoiler! POV Winner - Big Brother 8

Guess who won the POV this week? Guess! Jessica's love, Eric. So, what is he going to do with it? Will he leave Jessica's nominations as they are, or will he and Jessica decide to backdoor Danielle? We'll find out on Monday.

Big Brother Producers blocked the live feeds during the session where players were chosen for the POV competition. The person who posted this first video was kind enough to explain what happened and that Eric was playing for veto and Dick was not.

The Houseguests are getting ready for the Veto competition after players have been chosen. They are sitting around chit chatting waiting. Danielle talks about her past and present relationship.

Spoiler! Big Brother 8 Luxury Competition!

Written by Judith Blakley

Earlier today, Big Brother Houseguests competed in a fun and frenzied luxury competition. Warning: this is a spoiler for those watching on television!

The girls won the competition and their reward was they could keep all the clothes they could put on. They ripped through these clothes and came out wearing so much around their necks, they could barely see above them.

What the actual competition involved, we do not know yet. From listening to Houseguests conversations after the fact, we learn that it does involve puzzles, spelling and removal of clothing. We will have to watch the episode on Sunday night to see what they had to do.

Congress Introduces Bill to Allow Governments to Compete in the Broadband Market

This would be bad news: via Ars Technica, it appears that Congress has introduced a bill that would overrule state laws that prohibit munipal broadband. Essentially, it would allow cities and towns to build their own broadband networks in competition with private providers.

Now, government has no special intelligence when it comes to providing such services. In fact, it really knows very little about it, as evidenced by the millions of dollars wasted every year by incompetent government IT departments.
