Need an energy boost? More people than ever are turning to so called energy drinks for increased stamina, alertness, better workouts, late night partying, and who knows what else. It?s now estimated that there are as many as 200 different brands of energy drinks in the U.S., bringing in close to 1 billion dollars in annual sales.
You can probably guess where the kick in these drinks comes from. An 8 oz AMP (a Mountain Dew spin-off) has 77 mg of caffeine. An 8.3-ounce Red Bull contains 70 mg. The University of Florida College of Medicine recently found 105 mg of caffeine in a 6.5 oz can of Starbucks Doubleshot. By comparison, a typical 8 oz. cup of brewed coffee has around 85 mg of caffeine.
The alcohol was involved, as an important influence factor in the danger of losing out of body fat. The question of whether the alcohol is "Mast" is a very controversial topic, because technically speaking, the alcohol is not stored as fat, it is oxidized ahead, the other fuels.
I don't get the whole obsession with removing junk food from schools in the United States.
Yeah, there's an obesity problem in this country and I agree with limiting a child's access to junk food, but I hate it when parents try to blame their own shortcomings on something or someone besides themselves. What am I talking about? Well, for one, how exactly does a child at the age of 6 or 7 get the money to buy a Coca-cola, a snickers bar, a twinkee, and a bag of chips for lunch? THEIR PARENTS!
Paris Hilton is out of jail and why this makes many angry and sad at the judicial system we have in place in this great country, but let us take comfort in the hope that the early let out will reduce her career to porn. No more records. No more movies. No more Paris crap -- if there is one thing we can't stand is someone who can't do the time for their crime.
I love my TV. I've had channels 2, 4, 5, and 8 for the past 12 years and many of you know that those are ABC, NBC, CBS, and NPT (national public television). And here today, I have the 185 channel package from DirecTV and my mind is somewhat spinning. So many channels, so.. little that's actually worth watching? Don't get me wrong, I love having more than 4 channels and it's great not having to sit and watch the news, Law and Order, and all the other shows that come on those three national networks.
Unfortunately, some of the channels were blocked by my parents, although they didn't really block anything I was going to miss watching. MTV these days is just a bunch of crap, half-naked women showing off their butts to anyone who wants to look, rappers talking about drugs, guns, rims, sex, money, and b*&^hes. I'm not too interested in the music videos because they're usually repetitive, especially hip-hop. They're usually a combination of any of the things I listed a second ago.

My delicate eye. I sit,
I dine without you.
