I know it is silly, but I have just met one of my goals on this website.
You all will laugh when I tell you what it is..
Before they change the points back down to zero again, I wanted to have more points than either of the two people who are running this website.. Lars and Stephanie.
It was tough trying to catch up with Stephanie, but her vacation allowed me that opportunity.
But I'm now third in points after two people who I'd only be able to bypass if their computers crashed..lol!
I have a sales and marketing background.. so setting goals is something I do as a matter of living. Sometimes they are real solid goals, and other times they are just to amuse myself. This was one that was for pure amusement.

In that way I met and beat my silly goal, and knocked out a deadline too.

Here is why your goal is not silly.
As you have successfully brought many people to this site to read your articles, they discover other writers here too. In that way, we are all potentially increasing our audience.

Thank you for feeling that way. I wonder if I am ticking people off. I'd love for them to zero everyone out again.. especially the current popular articles.. I know the BB8 articles will work themselves back up, but there are some great writers here that ought to have that exposure too.

Almost all of my points come from commenting and not posting articles. I focus on commenting to try to support the writers and the community (even if I don't always agree in my comments). So if you comment liberally you will easily rack up a lot of points!
Yes.. I've been commenting regularly on several writer's blogs and articles here... and it does add up quickly :)
