Whether you have been watching this season's Big Brother reality television show or not, you will enjoy learning how one person has managed to compromise the integrity of this show.

The Basics

This season's twist in the game was that several of the Houseguests were unknowingly in the house with people they had unresolved issues with. There were two ex-lovers, two ex-best friends from school and a father and daughter who had not spoken for years. The only two left in the house together are Houseguests Dick and Danielle.

Houseguest Danielle is the current HOH (Head of Household). For people who do not follow this show, the HOH gets a special bedroom for the week and nominates two people for possible eviction that week. Following each week's eviction, a new HOH competition takes place where the outgoing HOH does not compete.

Houseguest Amber and Jameka were nominated for eviction by Danielle.

The POV (Power of Veto) was won by Danielle this week. Power of Veto gives a houseguest the choice to veto one of the HOH's nominations. The winner of the POV is not required to use it. Each week, a POV competition takes place where the HOH and two nominated houseguests, plus three random houseguests compete for the POV.

During the Veto Ceremony, Danielle used the POV to veto her own nomination of Amber and put Houseguest Jen up for eviction instead.

Houseguest Jen is being "backdoored" This is a Big Brother term for putting someone up for eviction without giving them the chance to compete for the POV. Jen is being backdoored because she has always managed to win the POV each time she's nominated for eviction.

Jen becomes upset about being backdoored and begins breaking various Big Brother rules.

Houseguests Amber and Danielle have earned/won a trip outside of the Big Brother House and are gone during these events.

It is also important to know that during a previous POV competition, several of the houseguests gave up privileges in order to stay in the game. Jameka and Jen gave up food and must eat Big Brother Slop for the rest of the season that they are in the house. Jameka gave up competing in the HOH competitions for the rest of the season. Jen gave up half her prize money if she were to win the entire competition.

Jen Puts the Integrity of the Show at Risk

Jen goes up to talk to Dani in the HOH Bedroom and as their conversation is ending, Jen is telling Dani and Big Brother Itself that she is not going to the Jury/Sequester House. As these events progress, Big Brother producers begin blocking parts of the live feeds which people have actually PAID for. As things get worse, more and more is blocked by the producers of the show. It came to a point last night where for a period of many hours, nothing was being broadcast live. These subscribers paid for this service and should receive a refund. It appears the producers do not want anyone knowing how they are dealing with this situation.

After Jen hides her things, she goes into Dick's bedroom and steals his cigarettes, takes them into the food pantry and destroys them.

Dick (sometimes referred to as "Evil Dick") just found out that his cigarettes are missing and Jameka informs everyone that Jen's stuff is missing. Big Brother replaces three of the four cartons of cigarettes to Dick. When Dick informs Jen that he got three cartons back, Jen gets upset and goes back into the Diary Room to complain to Big Brother Producers. As Jen is walking into the Diary Room, she tells Dick what she did to the cigarettes. When Jen comes out of the Diary Room after Dick got his cigarettes replaced, she begins to eat regular food. Jen explains to Jameka, Eric and Jessica why she has turned to eating regular food. In the morning, Big Brother Producers called a house meeting with everyone (except Dani and Amber who are out of the house on a trip) to allow them to ask questions and come to some type of conclusion. During this time, live feeds appear to have been stopped. From the videos posted later during the day, it appears that Big Brother has decided that a penalty nomination is unfair to the rest of the Houseguests, especially Jameka who is up for eviction alongside Jen. Jen is getting a penalty vote instead. Jen will start off the eviction vote with a vote already against her.

At this point, this is as far as YouTube will take us. A further update will be written as soon as more information comes through the video pipelines.

It is my hope that Big Brother does show the public a summary of what has occurred over the past two days. If Big Brother would kick Jen out for her rule breaking, it would go miles in restoring the integrity of the show; however, they have decided not to handle things in that manner. Even though I do not personally subscribe to the live feeds, I believe firmly that subscribers should be reimbursed for the many hours of blocked feeds.
