War rages, orphanages overflow, and the topic de jour is climate change and carbon emissions. A bright spot of hope and laughter hovers over the collective horizon, however, as the planet eagerly anticipates the long-awaited Simpsons movie. I can hardly contain myself, thinking of a few precious hours of laughter and the endless summer days of café talk that will follow, a summer where patios will buzz into the night with analysis and festive gossip over the world’s favourite family ties.
Continuing in his usual blues and soulful tunes John Mayer produced one of the finest compilations of songs in his repertoire with Continuum. Continuum; a 2006 Grammy winner is the fourth of John Mayer’s albums and was released five years after his first album. John Mayer introduced himself to the music world at the age of 23 with Room for Squares, and proceeded to have five Grammy Award nominations.
Through out Continuum you will find the smooth melodic voice that only John can offer. This beautiful melody is a compilation of his love for soul and blues music that delivers a sound that entices you to wanting to hear so much more. With the instrumentals delightfully complimenting his voice, you can believe that every part of this album was put together with precision and great care.

I was recently driving on Interstate 5 about an hour south of Sacramento. The traffic flow was smooth and fast, and my cruise control was set slightly above 75 mph.
A vehicle in the lane to my right moved ahead, the driver singled, adeptly moved into my lane and steadily advanced. My car, however, a 2007 Volvo S80, suddenly slowed.
The adaptive cruise control, one of several new safety features for Volvo, determined the driver of the vehicle now perhaps 50 yards in front of me had changed lanes without the proper minimum distance. As such, my cruise control automatically disengaged.
It's an alarming feeling at first, but it's one more reason why Volvo owners think they're getting among the safest cars on the road. The Swedish manufacturer offers some of the more popular vehicles in areas where inclement weather rules, like Sweden.
